Injection Awards 2027 trophy in plexiglass, brass and stone
The prize

The Injection Awards trophy

A block of engraved plexiglass bearing the event's identity — the axis and golden dot — on a base of brass and Bologna stone. Each year it carries the winner's category.

The winner receives the trophy from Prof. Douglas Terry on stage, in front of the audience, a signed copy of his book, a seat at the Gala with the speakers and the official photo. A recognition destined to become an annual tradition.

Rules

How it works

The winner takes the stage

The winning case is projected and discussed in front of the event audience, and the award is presented by Prof. Douglas Terry in person.

How the winner is chosen

Selection happens in two steps: the event committee first reviews the submissions, then the final choice is made by Prof. Douglas Terry.

Which case you can submit

The case must be treated with injective techniques, of your choosing. It can be aesthetic, multidisciplinary, conservative or otherwise: what counts is how you used the technique.

What you must upload

Three photographs are mandatory:

  • Initial photo of the case.
  • Intraoperative photo.
  • Final photo.

To these you add the case description and the reasons behind your choice of technique or techniques. You then have free space to upload further photos or supporting documentation.

The images stay yours

By submitting the case you grant the Organiser a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence over the photographs and texts, limited to this edition: review, projection in the hall if your case wins and — only if you authorise it with the dedicated checkbox — the gallery reserved to attendees. The projection in the hall is part of the submission: it is the prize, and it does not depend on the checkbox, which concerns the gallery alone. Your name always appears as the author, the rights remain yours, and the licence extends neither to later editions, nor to sponsor and exhibitor materials, nor to the photography and filming of the event: if the award ceremony is filmed, the clinical images stay out of the documentation and promotional footage. You collect the patient's consent yourself, within your own relationship with them: the Organiser does not contact them and should not receive their identifying data. The full text, with the duration and the ways to withdraw, is in the Injection Awards section of the Terms and Conditions.

Submission deadline
Submissions close on 15 May 2027. After that date the form no longer accepts entries.
